Hi, I’m David, a relaxed and friendly wedding photographer based in Gloucester, travelling anywhere in the UK for a good love story. My whole approach is simple: I want you to feel completely at ease so your photos look natural, honest and full of real emotion.
Most of the day you’ll barely notice me. I blend into the background, watching for the little moments and genuine interactions that make your day uniquely yours. And when we step aside for a few portraits, I keep things light and easy so nothing feels stiff or staged. It’s just the two of you being yourselves.
My style sits somewhere between candid storytelling and quietly composed portraits, giving you a gallery that feels personal, joyful and true to how the day actually felt.
Couples often tell me their guests relaxed around me straight away and that they almost forgot I was there. That’s exactly what I aim for: a calm, friendly presence who fits into the day rather than taking it over.

He worked closely alongside our videographer throughout the day to capture the important moments but also took some amazing candid shots. His photographs adopts a photo journalistic style, making them timeless and heartfelt.

He captured so many incredible candid moments and made sure every aspect of our wedding was included. We would absolutely recommend him and we will be looking back at our photos for many years to come.
But from the start he really got to grips with what our ideas where for our day- and he worked out how to capture every detail- we of course had some time with the posed photos where his sense of humour came out with the some great shots and with everyone’s attention we got through them quickly and efficiently (thanks also to the best man there for his work as a sheep dog and following the list provided). After the day David quickly sent through a few shots for us to share on Facebook by the next morning and we received the rest of the shots 5 weeks later- perfectly in time for the next family gathering. Would thoroughly recommend and we are absolutely delighted with all of the photos 😀😀😀

The quality of his work was incredible - we now have over 300 wonderful memories (and that’s just the best ones that he selected of all the shots he took) of that amazing day, all in focus, well composed and with a mixture of posed and casual shots.
