Nicole & Joshua's Wedding Story
Nicole and Joshua’s wedding day was a beautiful reflection of who they are – relaxed, joy-filled and centred on the people and places that mean the most to them. They were married at Kingfisher Church in Tredworth, their home church, surrounded by a community that clearly loves them deeply. The ceremony felt personal and genuine, full of warmth and meaning, and set the tone perfectly for the rest of the day.
After the ceremony, everyone made their way to The Barn at Over for a laid-back afternoon celebrating with family and friends. There was pizza for everyone (always a winning choice), plenty of conversation, and a real sense of ease – no rush, no pressure, just time together. One of the most memorable moments of the day came when Nicole sang a beautiful song to Joshua, with her dad accompanying her on the saxophone. It was one of those moments where the room went completely still – emotional, heartfelt, and incredibly special. There genuinely wasn’t a dry eye left.
The celebrations finished in the most Nicole-and-Joshua way possible – with a game of rounders. Lots of laughter, a bit of friendly competitiveness, and everyone getting involved. It summed the day up perfectly: fun, relaxed, full of love, and completely true to them.
