I'm Esme, an award-winning photographer who wants to help you bottle the feeling of your wedding day.
Documenting your day is one thing, but having the feeling of marrying the love of your life captured forever is something else entirely!
I am an intuitive, adventurous photographer who is focused on capturing the realness of love and human connection. With a friendly, no-pressure approach, I’ll help you tell your story in an authentic, joyful way that will make you look back on this period of your life and think, “wow! I really did that!”
With me as your photographer, you will be getting more than just photos. You will be getting core memories that you can pass on to generations to come.
Throughout our time together, I can be as hands on as you need me to be. Whether its help finding your favourite suppliers, organising your timeline, holding your hand through the nerves or being your biggest cheerleader through the most exciting time of your life! My goal is to make your wedding, engagement or elopement as blissful as possible.

Engagements
The moment you've been waiting for. Immortalise it forever with a photo session. A great way to practice being in front of the camera, or to have photos for your Save The Dates.
Weddings
Whether it's a party with 200 people, or an intimate ceremony on a beach with your closest friends. I will capture your day with love, respect and sincerity.
Elopements
Don't fancy the fuss? Let's head off to your favourite place, say your vows and take some epic photos! I am excited to travel all around world, there is no location too remote.
My style is calm, friendly and supportive. I will be on hand to assist with whatever you need in the run up to the big day. Need help finding a florist/hair stylist/make up artist? I have a bunch I can recommend!
On the day, I will be your personal cheer leader and friend. I am a master chameleon and very good at picking up on vibes so will be able to scope out the photo opportunities at every stage of the day! I also think it's important to carve out a moment for the two of you to just relax and take everything in. So we will find a time to go away as a 3 and get some photos together while you soak in the atmosphere.
WORKING WITH ME
Here is a typical timeline of how we can work together, from initial enquiry to final photo delivery.
Enquiry:
Here is a great opportunity for you to tell me about yourselves, about your wedding, the date and wedding location and you can even send me a Pinterest board of your ideas to help me better understand what style of photos you are hoping for your big day.
Booking:
If you decide to go ahead with booking me, I will send my booking form via email, along with the agreement and a payment schedule for you to sign and return with your deposit to secure your date.
Pre-wedding session:
If you decide to book an engagement session or if you wish to add one on at any point, you may like to schedule it at any time from now on.
Pre-wedding chat:
We can have as many video chats as you'd like on the lead up to the day! But we'll definitely meet in-person or via video call to discuss the finer details around 6-8 weeks before your wedding day. Here is where we will create an itinerary together that is perfect for you!
The big day:
I'll be there every step of the way to capture all the photos of your special day while you relax and enjoy your wedding.
Photo processing:
Here is where I carefully edit and retouch your images to ensure you receive a collection you will love and treasure forever.
Online gallery delivery:
You'll receive your password- protected web gallery, ready to share, download and print however you wish. You can also add on a photo book at this stage if you haven't already.
Photobook and prints:
Here is where you will receive your photo book and have the option of purchasing prints through the online gallery.

I want to make sure I am not adding any more stress or pressure to your wedding prep so expect working with me to be straight forward, simple and to-the-point. I pride myself on brilliant communication and being overly prepared!

Top Wedding Tips
Always make a group photo list! The last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day is be posing for 100s of photos with distant relatives! Make a list that you're happy with and stick to it.
Meet your photographer before the big day. Either in person or via video call. It's important that you feel like you can trust them and you are all on the same page.
Hate posing for photos? Move around as much as possible! Standing still makes you look wooden, the more movement you can do the better you'll look (and feel!)

Esme Buxton has been working as a fashion and wedding photographer for 5 years. She loves people and finds joy in human connection. She also LOVEs weddings and all the joy, creativity and love that they bring. Esme lives in Cheltenham with her rescue dog and when she isn't capturing your wedding day, she is meeting friends, wild swimming or teaching herself how to knit!
