Matthew is exceptional. His communication is excellent but his skills are second to none. Our first phone call with Matthew we immediately hung up and said he’s the one. The first photographer who just felt like a life-long friend, he was so easy to chat with and discuss all the options of what we were trying to achieve from our day.

On the day, Matthew went unnoticed - like another friend or family member. He made everyone feel at ease, he laughed with us and made us feel so confident and comfortable in front of the camera.

He captured breathtaking photos of our day that hold every emotion and memory of the moment we lived through. Our guests are in awe of the incredible work that Matthew has done. Everyone sang his praises - not just us. We can’t recommend him highly enough! So many thanks for everything!

Matt recently photographed our July 2022 wedding on what turned out to be one of the hottest days on record. As the corona virus pandemic meant we had to postpone our wedding twice I had been corresponding with Matt for over two years by the time we met face to face a few weeks before our big day. In all that time he proved to be an amazing communicator with endless knowledge and invaluable advice, helping me plan our day as best we could.

Our meeting went incredibly well and Matt was very amiable and happy to travel to our venue in Lewes from his base in Bexhill to get the lay of the land. I'm so glad he did as he suggested things we could do to the ceremony room to help him get the best angles and photos possible. He judged where the sun would be to find the best spot for our outdoor pictures and made sure he knew what we envisioned our photos being like.

Fast forward to the day and we could not sing his praises enough! I often get very uncomfortable in front of the camera and expressed this worry to Matt at our meeting but he immediately put me at ease and brought some kind words and much needed laughs to the bridal prep suite! I know he did just the same with my husband and a lot of our guests were very complimentary!

The whole day was absolutely amazing and Matt did a fantastic job at keeping things stress-free and fun, the group photos were very organised and again Matt made sure we got all the pictures we wanted as well as the extra ones that family requested on the day - making sure we were happy but also that everyone else was happy too.

Me and my husband are over the moon with how everything went and we felt extremely comfortable in front of Matts lens. We've just received our sneak preview photos and they are stunning! He truly has captured the day as it was and what we've seen so far is exactly what we wanted. Relaxed, candid, beautiful.

We are so looking forward to the rest of our album and can't thank Matt enough for all his help and gorgeous work!

Matthew was our photographer for our wedding day in July and he was fantastic. We met with Matthew before the big day at the venue where he showed us all his favourite spots for great photos. On the day Matthew completely blended in and captured all the special moments effortlessly. The photos didn’t feel staged and he captured ‘in the moment’ photos which is exactly what I wanted.
