As a wedding photographer from Guisborough, I've always been passionate about the outdoors and documentary photography. My unique perspective and approach to capturing special moments have earned me numerous accolades, including the title of North East's best photographer in 2021. But my journey didn't start with photography - I actually spent several years serving as an engineer in the Royal Navy. While I enjoyed my work in the Navy, my love for photography never faded. I was always drawn to the art of capturing moments and creating stories through pictures. When I left the Navy, I decided to pursue my passion for photography and started my journey as a wedding photographer. My background in engineering has actually helped me in my photography career. The attention to detail and problem-solving skills that I developed in the Navy have translated well to my work as a photographer. I'm always looking for unique and creative ways to capture the special moments of a wedding day, and my engineering background has helped me approach photography with a technical and analytical eye. One of the things that sets me apart as a photographer is my love of exploration and adventure. I'm always looking for new and unique ways to capture the beauty of the world around us. Whether it's hiking to a remote location or using a drone to capture aerial shots, I'm always pushing the boundaries of what's possible with my photography.
