Beautiful riverside venue in stunning countryside. Keighley (wedding coordinator at the venue) has been super helpful, answering all questions and putting our mind at rest.

The Talbooth is just perfect for an intimate wedding. We’re so excited to be getting married there and having a further evening reception at Milsoms. What a way to spend Coronation Day!

Words cannot express how thankful we are to you and your team for such an amazing day. The day exceeded anything we could have wished for and a lot of that is thanks to your team for making everything run so smoothly.

A massive thank you to Jess for all her hard work in the lead up to the day. I don’t think she said ‘no’ to one single request of ours, and was always very efficient at replying, friendly and easy to deal with. She took a huge amount of stress away from the lead up to the wedding and I am incredibly thankful for that as it allowed me to enjoy the weeks before without getting too stressed.

Matt was absolutely fantastic on the day. He looked after us and our guests beyond anything we could have imagined. He was attentive, thoughtful and we both felt so well looked after from the moment we arrived. Little details like saving canapes back for us, checking we always had the drinks we wanted, and checking we were okay with the evening set up etc (which I would have completely missed if he hadn’t showed me) were just small examples of how he went above and beyond to look after us and ensure we were happy with every single detail of our day. There was also a female waitress who’s name I can’t remember who looked after us really well on the day too.

We knew we had picked a special venue but it exceeded our expectations more than we could have ever hoped for!

Angus and I just wanted to send you an email saying a huge thank you for all the amazing hard work you put in on Thursday! Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives and it simply could not have been done without all of your hard work and dedication! We are just so grateful for everything you did. We had so many guests commenting on how delicious the food was, how fantastic the service was from your staff, and how utterly outstanding the venue was. Thank you so much, and please thank your staff from us.

Thank you so much; we are just back from our honeymoon and back to reality!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the Milsoms team for your work not only on the wedding day but over the last year or so of planning.

I decided on a Milsoms wedding as I have attended many events at the various Milsoms over the years, mainly work related, and have always been so impressed with the service and quality of the food. This could not have been truer for our wedding. Communication during the planning stages and especially in the run up to the wedding day has always been incredibly efficient and the service from the staff on the day was fantastic. A particular mention to the on the day co-ordinator (I believe her name was Emma?) – she was absolutely fantastic; very professional and kept everything running to time etc! I will definitely be recommending Talbooth Restaurant to people for a wedding!

We have had so many fantastic comments on the venue and the wedding breakfast – many people have told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, so thank you to all your team for that!

Once again, thank you for the most special day – if only we could do it all again!
