Hayley graduated from the prestigious Delamar Academy in 2008 and has been working as a successful make up and hair artist ever since, including two years as Head Make-Up Artist at Urban Retreat @ Harrods. Her portfolio includes work for:
Bulgari, Daks Designer Fashion, Paul Mitchell, Browns Designer Fashion, Harrods Designer Studio, Unite Eurotherapy, Marco Marco, Mont Cler to name a few.
She has also had work published in the UK and internationally in titles such as:
Tatler, Brides, Elle UK Online, Prima, Dorset Magazine, The Metro, Beautiful, Vanity Hype, DNA (Australia), Daily Mail Online, The Salon Magazine and many more.
Hayley has been the artist of choice for some of the top hotels in London including the Four Seasons and The Savoy, and has taught make-up internationally. She now works on a freelance basis, taking private clients for weddings, hair, make up and tutorials, as well as writing about make-up and beauty for a few magazines and websites.
In 2022 and 2023 she won national awards from Hitched.co.uk for her work. These are based solely on client reviews, and the awards started in 2022.
She is passionate about skincare and nutrition, and believes that true beauty comes from a healthy and holistic approach to your mind and body. This comes as part of the package - a new, bespoke skincare routine (should yo need to make any changes) to get your skin looking its best for the day. She'll go through this at your trial, and help you make a list of what to buy and how to use it.
She currently lives in South Somerset with her husband – former River Cottage Chef & Baker – Daniel.

Get your skin looking it's best for your wedding day. I can help with this! It means we use less make up on the day, so you look naturally gorgeous and glowing.
Always use a primer and a setting spray. This will ensure your make up lasts until you're ready to take it off!
Make sure you have a great rapport with your HMUA, and your photographer. They are with you on a very intimate and special morning so its important they fit in and bring a good energy.

On the actual day Hayley was punctual, efficient and a calming presence. She went above any beyond by helping me into my dress and accessories; making sure I looked perfect from top to toe before walking down the aisle.
Hayley was a dream to work with and I do not think I could have chosen a better MUA for my wedding. Hayley did my hair and make-up, as well as make-up for my mother and 5 bridesmaids.
Hayley is incredibly talented and was able to produce my dream look with apparent ease- a look which lasted all day, all night and throughout the next day after I refused to wash it off! She made me feel beautiful and made sure I was as comfortable as possible in the make-up I was wearing. On the morning of the wedding she fit right into my merry band of bridesmaids and felt like a friend was there with me. She is is so warm and calm and has exquisite taste!
Hayley was very flexible, accommodating two pandemic rearrangements and multiple attempts at trial dates. She made it all feel easy during a challenging and stressful time.
Booking Hayley was easily one of the best decisions I made!
I had so many compliments on the day (I know all brides do!) but I really did feel like a princess and that was down to Hayley. I don't tend too wear too much makeup and I felt like Hayley really managed to make me look natural but so that it still stood out in photos.
Hayley was really discreet, flexible and calm something all brides need on their wedding day. I would highly recommend Hayley if you are looking for a makeup artist.
