2 weeks fag free and i feel amazing. Managed to get some more money in our saving pot and starting to look healthy now. Got 2.5% cost of living pay rise at work - we were told we weren't getting them so im surprised but not everyone has one. And finally told my H2B's sister who has been winging about not being a bridesmaid that she should be luckily she is even invited to our wedding with all the negative comments and moaning she has been doing about us !! xxx

Congratulations on being smoke free for 2 weeks thats great :-) Also means you wont be wearing a dress that smells of cigarettes on your big day, well done you :-) and yay to pay rise! xx
Well i worked out i was spending £25 per week as smoke roughly 6-10 per day which is £100 a month and between now and the wedding is £1600. This was enough motivation for me. So i printed off a random wedding dress and wrote "£1600 saved from no smoking = this dress" and stuck them round my computer screen at work and my screen saver on my phone. Sounds stupid but everytime i've been tempted to smoke i realise why i have given up and stops me.
I wish i did it years ago but you have to want to do it and be ready to do it as hard work !! xx
