How early can you send supplier's in to set up?
Do they provide table numbers/stand & tableplan stand/frame?
What time can you have the room til on the night?
What time the bar/last drinks closes?
Is the bar open during the meal for people to get drinks from?
    Highchairs available if having children?
If there is a safe place to put gifts or supplier items in after the wedding before they are collected?

This is really useful as we're having our meeting next Monday and I have been writing myself another list! lol

Most of what's on my list has been mentioned:

When can we go in to set up?
Can we buy bottles of drinks for the drinks reception not by the glass?
Do they have chair covers or have to get our own?
    High chairs?
    Cake stand?

Will be good to hear what I've missed, great thread! :)

recommended taxi firms for those not staying, and recomended hotels/b&B's for guests to stay in if they don't want to stay at venue or there isn't enough room, any companies that they WON'T work with (our venue won't work with the children's entertainment company i was considering using as one of their employees in the past wasn't properly CRB'd) and anything you can't do (we're not allowed fresh red rose petals as they stain the table linen and bubbles as they make the floor slippery). also if you are going to be booking all the rooms at the venue, try to negociate a deal - we did and saved everyone £20/room! you should take a list of all the suppliers you've booked with as the venue will need to know this and may need to check whether these companies have the appropriate insurance. x x
