    Hi everyone!

I’m just looking for your thoughts. I have a great friend who I would like to be involved in my wedding day somehow. She’s very special to me, so I really would like her part to be as significant as possible. I can’t decide whether to ask her to do a reading or asking her and her partner to be our witnesses, I can’t seem to decide which I think is more ‘special’! What do you guys think?

It is a tough one. I had the same issue. I went for reading in the end because it's taking part in the actual ceremony. A witness just has to sign. On the other hand, you'll have that marriage certificate forever as a memento. It could also depend on her character. If I was asked for example, I'd rather be a witness because I'm quite shy. Could you ask her? Tell her you really want her to be part of your day and want her to feel comfortable in the role she plays?
