Forum Poll n our engagement party and i’m so excited!! Its not until June Bank Holiday but we have a lovely function room in a hotel that has an outside area - we will be having a bbq outside on a wooden patio and then the disco, sweetie table and table and chairs decorated with balloons etc inside.

I want Black, White and Yellow for my Wedding colours so thinking of something different for the engagement party – i figure before i go to the OH with suggestions, i try narrow it down a bit so i may actually get an answer lol!! So please could you vote to say which colours you like best......... and if you have any other ideas please please help me!!! We currently have order black table covers and chair covers but could change them to white.

Also any thoughts to entertainment aside from the DJ? I’m going to have a sweetie table and someone mentioned a game type thing, where you have a book of some sort out that people can write in it “in 10/20/30 years time.....” and guests fill in the blanks. What do you think? Fun? Tacky? Boring?

I've voted for spring greens hun, but really its a hard one to choose, I would go for colours away from ur wedding day as then u can surprise everyone with the lovely colours for the day, spring colours I think would be lovely as it is very lovely bright colour x

Thanks ladies, tbh green was my least fave choice but having flicked through mags and things i think it would work really well and like you say for spring/summer time it would compliment it quite nicely. Would prob change the covers to white though if we went with green. Decisions!!!
