    what gsm paper/card are u ladies using to make your own invites with xx

    gsm is the thickness hun the lower the gsm the less stiff the card will be xxx

    cheers hun im stuck on which 1 to get to make gatefold invites im sure the stuff i used for favour boxes was 240gsm and that wasnt stiff enough i dont think xx

    hmmmmm... i don't know if you'd be better with the thinner size though to help with the folding? might be wrong though having never made them before xx

    we used 300 but it was too thick to go through our printer so we had to pay a printers to do them for us so check its suitable for your printer first.

    cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
    start weight 10st 1.5 lbs
    weight now 8st 4.5 lbs
    total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!

    Ours was 250gsm, we got it printed in a printers though not at home

    I've got 240gsm card for our favour boxes, they go through our printer fine. Bit flimsy for favour boxes but would be fine for invites.

    ive been told by several people anything above 240gsm is fine for invites xx

    yeah ive checked the net they reckon 270-300 gsm so ive opted for the 300 gsm did guest list last night and realised i only needed half the amount i thought of so so in total for all the bits diamantes die cuts paper backing paper etc its gonna cost me less then £30 xx

    also for any1 making there own gatefolds i suggest a scoring tool for ur folds and not just bending the card as its alot more tidy xx
