Well I don't know if i'll be able to weigh myself every week for next few weeks but as of yesterday I'm 15st 2lbs which gives me a total weight loss so far of 13lbs. Just ordered 2 trial packs of some acai berry detox things that are supposed to really boost weight loss - going to give it a go while I can't exercise, see if it stops me from putting weight back on!!

Hi girls, I'm so disappointed this week! I gained 3lbs, but we did have our engagement party and 2 others, not to mention the HUGE cake made for us (black forest gateaux with chocolate fudge...eesh lol). So I'm starting again tomorrow at 13st 5lbs 1/4.

I'll set up a sheet so we can track our weight loss. I think weighing on a Sunday would work out as it's the end of a week. Although I don't suppose it matters too much as long as we get it.

It still makes sense! Thanks for trying to make it look nice and neat :) it's good to see how everyone else is doing too! And 3lbs on isn't that bad at all considering all the parties and the big cake!

Sara I think I may give those acai berry supplmenets a try. I just looked them up and the reviews are good, saying they not only help with weightloss but also tiredness (something I suffer from a lot!), complexion and general 'feeling goodness'. Fingers crossed they work! Although even if they just make me feel better in myself and don't help me lose weight I'd still be happy!

Claire have you ordered them yet? If not, go on to womens health because they've got a promotional code that you can input at the checkout and it reduces the P&P for the trial packs! :o)

Okay, so I weighed myself today, I'm 8st 8lbs. I could have cried. I'm only 5ft 2in, I knew I'd put weight on recently, but I didn't think it was that bad. Major reality check. My goal is to lose 4lbs by the end of this month and get down to my ideal BMI by the wedding which is 7st 11lbs. Does this sound reasonable?

Having said that, our scales have gone a bit dodgy (at one point this morning it said I was 6 stone!!), so we have bought some new ones and I am going to weigh myself on those, so it could bring bad news :/

Well I've had to weigh today as I'm away for the weekend....my scales said 13st this morning, then 13st 3 half hour later and the nurses scales at the docs said 12st 11lbs! If hers are right I've lost my first stone! My friend thinks I should be listening to my scales though :( I don't know what to listen to mun! ARGH! On a brighter note we're off to Liverpool to see our friend and then to see Roger Waters tomorrow night in Manchester! Funnnnn....although will involve a meal in our favourite Chinese restaurant in the world!!!!! mmmmmmm xx

Well I'd believe the doctors scales as they're calibrated regularly! :o) I'm feeling pretty rubbish today, think I've got a bug or something but on the plus side I got weighed this morning and have lost another 2lbs! Not bad to say I've hardly been walking and doing no exercise for last 2 weeks (since my foot operation). The scales are now showing 1lb less than they did when I had my op done so I'm well pleased :o) - I miraculously seemed to gain 4lbs overnight when I had my op, I'm putting it down to the ridiculous amount of bandages I'm wearing! lol

I def agree with just trusting the scales at the docs. I was right about my scales at home being wrong - I'm actually now 14st 9lbs according to docs on friday. Where as my home scales had said I was 14st 8lbs a couple of weeks before, and I seriously tried hard with the dieting between! Needless to say, my home scales got filed under "B" for bin lol....

LOL Claire, good choice, I think I will deduct the difference and be 4lbs less when I weigh on my scales. I will be weighing tomorrow but I did have a sneaky peak on Friday and I've stayed he same so far which isn't too bad, we went to Liverphool last week and ate out a lot, including a Thai Red Curry in Manchester, which was gorgeous but I bet was full of calories!!! x

No change for me either, and I have Had a few really bad food days! So I'm still 14st 9lbs. But better than putting any on!

I've worked out if I go on the wii in just underwear and say my clothes weigh 2lbs it matches the scales at the doctors! So that's what I'm doing from now on!

Hope it's going well this week :-)

Could be water retention.... especially if you're due or on your period! Sometimes makes me a few pounds heavier, then after I'm back to normal! Or if you've been doing any exercise, that can make you weigh more because muscle is heavier than fat
