My goal is to make a film that reminds couples of the feeling they had on their wedding day; and I do that by combining gorgeous imagery with beautiful music and some pitch-perfect speeches.
I can’t think of another time in someone’s life when people are going to hire a professional videographer, with cinema quality cameras and lenses to capture naturalistic moments of friends and family interacting with each other. So it’s a pleasure to be able to turn this once in a lifetime moment into a cinematic and emotional memory. We all imagine our lives as a film, and for one day I’m able to make that a reality for people.
I'm generally pretty smiley and easygoing but I see it as my job (and a pleasure) to make sure that my couples are having fun, know what they're doing, and most importantly, that they feel relaxed and calm.
This could be talking them through the day, telling them that no matter how confident people might seem externally, every couple is going through the same, or just making silly jokes to cut through the tension…that’s particularly useful when there’s a stressed Mother of the Bride
From a creative point of view this also helps capture the best moments - a smiling couple always makes for the best film.
I describe my style as cinematic documentary. I use very good quality cameras and sharp lenses so I always feel confident that what a couple is seeing is something they couldn't film themselves. The only time I really direct my couples is during the couple shoot; aside from that I pretty much let the day unfold as naturally as possible as I’ve found that brings the best results.

Top Wedding Tips
Make sure you get a very reliable made of honour. She will take care of some many fiddly things on the day - you'll love her!
Give yourself loads of mingling time. The best part of my wedding was getting to see everyone you love all together - it's like the best birthday you'll ever have 😆
Don't worry about not getting any sleep the night before. The average for brides and grooms seems to be 2-3 hours and everyone always has a banging time on the day.

James created the most beautiful documentary of our day, it’s so stunning, so beautiful & so perfect. The attention to detail that James has in his work is incredible and he is such a lovely calming presence on the day without being at all intrusive. We only decided on getting a videographer 3/4 months before we were due to marry and I stumbled across his videos. Immediately I knew that we had to book him. We were so lucky that he was free to capture our big day and more importantly said yes to doing it!
From the moment he arrived James was super down to earth and helped calm any nerves I had. Throughout the day he was very respectful of our space and was in no way intrusive.
We received the trailer and couldn't believe the quality of what he had created. We then received the full video and wow. I think I can't say more but WOW. He captured everything so amazingly and the time and effort he's clearly put into making a wedding film that we will watch on repeat for years to come is absolutely outstanding.

Meet the Manager
Hi I'm James. It's just me in the business so I shoot all the weddings and do all the admin (the latter of which I'm least good at 😆). I've been filming and editing weddings for 10 years now but I've been a cinematographer, camera-operator and director in Film and TV for 10 years before that too so I know my way around a camera. The most beautiful part of filming weddings, other than getting to spend all day with deliriously happy people, is the joy of putting beautiful images to perfect music and syncing that with funny and emotional speeches from your day. It's an absolute pleasure and something I count myself lucky to do everyday.
