    Hi everyone,

We're looking at getting married in Portugal this year - September or October... and are just starting the whole process!

We're looking to get married somewhere between Lisbon and Porto, or perhaps in the Douro Valley...

....really hard to find a venue (e.g., pousada, villa) that we like and have no transparency on prices.

Would appreciate any help with -
    - suggestions on venues.
    - rough ideas on prices (e.g., pp cost with breakdown)
    - suggestions to make it feel "special" (e.g., personal bottles of port for everyone?)

    Appreciate any help!
    Thanks!

Theres a site called weddings in portugal, i dont know if that would be of much help. You can only have a civil ceremony though, as i think a catholic service you have to be a resident for atleast 30 days (i maybe wrong on that though)
