Well we went for our taster session at the venue last night, we both really thought it would be really small meals being a la carte, hahaha how wrong we were!!

H2b has chosen haggis, neeps and tatties with whisky sauce as his starter
I Have chosen potato and leek soup it was awesome

H2b had sirloin of beef with potato's and veg (neither of could believe the size of it!!!)
and I had escalope of Scottish salmon with dauphonise potatoes and veg glazed in honey it was delicious!! again I thought would only get a wee bit of salmon but this was fit for a queen!!!!

for desert h2b had apple tart with honeycomb ice cream
and I had bread and butter pudding with rum and raisin ice cream it was the best meal ever, I really enjoyed myself and we think our guests are gonna be spoilt :D

You must be soooo excited :-D I have a whiteboard in the kitchen with the number of days on.. I love when I forget to write on it for a while and it goes down loads lol ! I started doing it in the mids 800's and now it's in the 720's so definitely going down quickly :-) xxx

the hotel had just a set meal for our package but we wanted our guests to have a choice, we obviously had to pay extra for that but its worth it x

Cathryn - Mine started at 850 something I think, but to get to the 720's has felt like a blink and miss it type thing ! If you write it down somewhere and update it every week- 2 weeks, then it will honestly feel a lot quicker !! At least it has been doing for me lol.. Feels like 2 mins ago I was Eeeekk'ing at H2B cause we'd reached the 700's lol, now it's nearly 600's !

We're paying £2 a head extra to get a 2nd choice on the menu Mrs Ross xxx
