I will be heading out to Crete in June to meet my wedding planner for the first time, at the moment she is just arranging the legal side and translations etc. but can do a whole lot more if require. I am also going to meet the owner of the venue/apartments who happens to be a good friend too, so we are in two minds whether to organise the other things ourselves through the many friends we have on Crete which could make it cheaper, or whether to do it all through the planner just to make it less stressful...
My question is, what sort of questions do I need to be asking the wedding planner and owner of the venue/apartments?
My mind as gone blank, think I will make a list before we go out, but needing ideas to get me started.
Thanks girls xxx

ask about capacity? what the food is like? will you have a tasting? are you having a rehersal dinner? Decorations? Someone organised to do the ceremnony for you? Gift room? Timings? Any religious or local traditions that need to be kept in place? How many can their apartment sleep and does it come with meals? whats in the apartments? Wifi?
Think simple and makethe list. Best way. Hope it helps x

Thanks Emma, I know what the food is like I have stayed many times before and I know we are having Greek BBQ. Not going to have a rehearsal dinner as it's going to be pretty informal. Wasn't really expecting any gifts as the guests are paying for there own accommodation. I know what are in the apartments and it has Wi-Fi access in public areas.
Yeah i think a list is defo the best way forward xx
