i'm puzzled - when getting a quote for wedding insurance, mine said £30 is that a monthly premium ? or one off as if its monthly then i may as well wait til aug next yr before taking it out so i dont have an un-neccessary expense at this very expensive time ??

It's a one off! Just make sure that it provides the correct level of cover. x

Do you have any wedding mags? Often some insurers advertised in them, or just google it. Depends on the level of cover you need as to who will be best to use. You get what you pay for really. x

yeah do, its just peace of mind that if something goes wrong you are protected, make sure you are happy with what it covers though, and do compare them. We went with ecclesiastical insurance in the end, as it was recommended by my sister when she got married, they used to do m and s insurance, but m n s now dont offer it to new brides!

    Hope that helps

Insurance only covers you up to a point - If the Bride and Groom choose not to hold the function it will not cover you - also if you are in the armed forces/police/ fire brigade check the insurance and make sure it covers especially if in the AF and going on a tour of duty. Certain companies do not and will not insure you. Hope this helps all xxxxx

Also if you have any medical illnesses etc you need to give them a call to make sure you are covered for them. I was lucky and didn't have any problems with my insurance and they have covered me at no extra cost so if I have to cancel due to not being able to make it on the day they will cover me. Its well worth checking these things out before you pay though. A quick phone call can save you heartache later down the line.

I bought our wedding insurance yesterday.

Looked at quotes from a few places, but decided with wedding plan as they are underwritten by the largest insurance company :-) xx
