I found the perfect ring ,the only problem is that it's 18carat gold and my engagement ring is 9 carat gold so the engagement ring would wear away at the wedding band if I got the 18 carat ring. I'm not sure whether to get a 9 carat gold ring that I don't like as much and may possibly not be as durable or maybe get the 18 carat ring which won't be the same as my engagement ring. Would wearing 1 on each hand be too stupid?

Not true!! That's a myth, the only difference is that the 9 carat gold will look worn quicker than the 18 carat. And also 18 carat is more yellow. x

I think I am going to have to put my engagment ring on my right hand, i really don't want to but I have a big cluster engagment ring, and really don't like some of the band's i have tried on that the jewlery stores tell me that my ring will fit but it doesn't! But still have a while to make a decision yet! choose the ring that you like and you want to wear!! it's your's forever hunni you have to be happy with it! xx
mrsquinn2b - I'm having a wedding band made to fit around my engagement ring.. there's a link on my profile that I was told about on here... My ring is a flower shape with ruby petals and diamonds around (pic on profile) so maybe you could get a shaped one too x
