I need some artisitc ideas ladies, the wall right behind where my top table will be had a door.... and its annoying! Ive been looking at the twinkle star back drops to cover it but it totally doesnt go with my theme, or does it?! Im going for the vintagey elegant style and cant help but think there more glitzy. Does anyone know how much roughly it is for a wall draped- not a led backdrop like a big curtain!

What about a vintage room divider? Just in front of the door I love the twinky back drop too though :)

Can you maybe get some sort of screen instead of a drape?? Or my cousin hated the door that was behind her top table so she actually convinsed the venue to change the room round so the top table was the other end of the room instead so maybe try that??

I like roxys idea......one of those concertina room dividers.....very vintage looking and maybe you could put it to use in your house afterwards......They have some gorgeous ones at The Range for about £50 i believe.
these are nice ones....

Oh that room divider is lovely. Such a great idea. xxx
i love the room divider i have a backdrop because my reception room as full wall of windows looking out on to the road and i don't want it to be every tom dick or harry looking in as the walk past. i think it finished the room of nicely and think it will look ok with my vintage/garden theme wish i could do something about the ceiling to its those horrid tile things that look so tacky and don't really fit the room or the over all style of the hotel you can tell its a newer extension when you go through to the older part of the hotel x

my room with out

You could make a screen with vintagey looking wall paper as a back drop.

Thanks for your ideas ladies, the room is a really odd shape, il add a photo of the room plan so theres not really any where else the top table can go. And because the walls are so tall im not sure a devider would hid it. So do you think a twinkley backdrop would look ok with a vintage theme? I might just put it up then not use the lights. May have to visit venue and see other rooms :( this one has french doors onto the lawn though

how about putting some organza type fabric over the twinkly background? It would die down the lights a bit and may make it look a bit more vintage? xxx

your can get the backdrops with out the lights this was an option from our comapny we are having the lights but will leave it till the evening reception to put them on i think it could look great with your vintage theme we went for ivory as its not as bright as the white.
i just had a quick look on the net and found this looks a bit more vintage then with the lights in maybe could get someone that could add the swaggs xx
