I have just seen this and thought what a wonderful thing to do, I've heard of people putting things belonging to their passed Father in their dress, but this is just great, thought I would share for those who are in this situation.

That's a lovely idea. I think I'm gonna get the little charm for my bouquet with a pic of my sister who passed away as I will have my other 3 sisters as bridesmaids

I put it in myself. I printed it off just on normal paper and cut it to size lol. Some of the sellers put the pic in for you tho, you email a pic to them and I think they size it to fit xx

Both my parents are still about fortunately but sadly one of my grandmothers had passed away a few days after we got engaged. My other grandmother flew over for the wedding so to have my dad's mum with us I carried her rosary beads down the aisle with me then gave to my dad for safe keeping for the rest of the day and also so he could feel he had his mum there with him.

Aww what a lovely idea MrsC. My bouquet ended up a sort of memory bank as I had a pendant that belonged to my late gran, a tie clip type thing that belonged to my late grandpa, a pendant given to me years ago by family friends who've passed now and also 2 thistles: one for my other grandad and one for my aunt (both were Scottish) xx

A related question if anyone knows the answer. I marry in October and we are currently putting together a website for our big day. Sadly my father passed away 7 years ago, my son will be giving me away but what do we call him? I can't put him as Father of the Bride but is there another title we can give him? Any help is much appreciated.
P.S. I love the charms, may get one for my bouquet.
