I had a trial on Saturday, I'm having another hair trial next Monday but my real issue was with my make up. I usually wear quite a bit of distinctive make up and the make up artist wanted to go for the virginal look...I looked like I was dead when looking back at the photos!
I need colour...I know I'm going to have a tan, but I still need distinctive eyes as well as coloured lips and some sort of bronzer!
Has anyone else had an issue with their make up? If so how did you tell your make up artist that you werent happy? xxx

I havn't got that far yet but if I didn't like it I would tell her. If she had used to wrong shade of foundation and given you sl@g lines you would tell her It's the same with the rest of it. After all It's your wedding.

I haven't gotten that far yet either, but i understand because i always have distinctive eyes and lipstick and if the make up artist made me look natural, it wouldn't feel like 'me'. Just tell her, she'd rather you were happy with the make up xxx

she is working for you if you don't want the virginal look then tell her!!! take a picture of your usual distinctive make up with you and tell her you want that but toned down a little and you want some colour etc and she should be able to cater for you its your day and your look so just tell her straight!
I've told mine i want silver and purple smokey eyes but not too much purple with eyeliner and big lashes. she said thats fine and i've not even had my trial yet!
you have to tell them otherwise they will make you look like someone your not

my make-up artist asked me what i wanted before she even started :D i don't usually wear make-up so she did it natural look. but for the wedding i want white and grey eyes which she will do for me. At the end of it your paying for it to be done so just tell her what YOU want doing
Ive spoken to her and told her my wedding is oscar-glam so i need my make up to match/compliment! and shes cool with that so ive booked a whole afternoon with her on 5th may! and i told her im not leaving until its perfect hehe xxx thanks ladies

id personally tell her exactly what you want. its important you feel comfortable and your h2b actually reconises its you on the day lol! oh just seen the last post ... on that note im glad you sorted it :) xx
