We have been in discussion about videoing the wedding and im un-decided.
I like the idea of having the video to view afterwards and re-live everything but not sure i want a camera-man running around and being there constantly. A photographer i can cope with as all be posing for him but you don't nessecarily pose for the video man. I have looked on a few websites and its not the cost but just having someone there.... there is a guy offering video for £99 on Book Face today and it looks fine but in his pictures he has big equipment he is lugging around and wearing a black t-shirt saying Crew.... doesn't really fit in.
Maybe we could just set up our little videocam in the corner of the church window sill to record the service and not intruding then?!

Finally marrying the love of my life !!
10th August 2013 - 9 years to the day we met !

How about getting one of your friends to do it if they have a videocam? Then it won't be so formal and they may well capture little bits of your day that you'd otherwise be unaware of. My bridesmaid's OH is going to do ours and I've done a couple myself for friends in the past. Won't be professional quality but it'll still be a nice reminder of your day x

We're having a video and he has a second cameraperson, but they have powerful zoom facilities so can film from the background, and always attend in shirt and tie etc - these are all valid questions and you can ask them if you decide to look into it. The video guy I'm using is on my wall x

We are just using our own camcorder and getting a couple of friends to take it in turns to use it throughtout the day :) x

We are just using our own camcorder too, and getting my daughters boyfriend to set it up on a tripod and leaving it to run.
We are just having the ceremony filmed and the speeches, a friend is using a camcorder for us xx

I would love to have our video'd but it's expensive. Thinking we'll ask a couple of friends/family to do it on camcorders then my dad will get copies and just edit at home (he has some software to do it nicely), the wedding service and speeches are the most important.
My sister had my uncle and cousin shooting hers and it turned out fantastic - my cousin is a journalist though so he has an eye and the skill for this kinda thing - shame I don't think he'll be able to make it for mine as it's expensive fo him to fly all the way from Malaysia.

We are thinking of using the same guy with his £99 deal.. if we can't get that deal then its too expensive to do, just see it as an added touch that if we stretch to it we'd like too. Means as H2B little girl gets older, she'll be able to see it (she'll be 5 when we get married so prob wont remember it hugely!) xx

My h2b is a media student so one of his class mates is going to do it for us, but I dont want the whole day as I want him to still be able to enjoy it too! So it will just be the church ceremony, us arriving at the reception, the speeches and maybe the first dance, the rest will all be photographed so we will still have memories of it :) xxx
