Ladies, just stumbled across a website that makes wedding dresses (copies of designer dresses) and the pics on the website are all of the original designs. Some stunning dresses from Maggie Sottero to Benjamin Roberts and don't know if this is just too good to be true???

I've put the link to the site on my wall but want to know if anyone has used the site before? Are they reliable?

There are some testimonials and links to UK bride and other similar sites - but how much can you trust these companies????

It's a bargain to get a custom made dress fro less than £200 but how safe are they?

I just went on and tried everything until I found what I wanted. I don't actually like my dress when it is on the hanger but it looks stunning on.

I found the dress determines so many thing such as colour schemes and the bridesmaid dresses etc. Mine has gold in it so would have looked awful if I had gone for silver. It also means I could get my shoes and other bits on ebay whenever I saw a bargain. I found my dress as soon as we got engaged then ordered it this Feb in time for fittings etc. Just because you know what you are having doesn't mean that you need to have it straight away.

ohh p.s as jo says your best to try before you order... ive had my dress on three times now in the shops to show diff people so i know it for me :D

Its only the same as if your measurements change after you have ordered from the bridal shop. Make sure you are generous with the tape and add a bit on then you can always have it taken in a bit again over here.

I think we all are when it comes to the big day as we want everything to be right.

Yep - especially when you're on a tight budget (as we are) I don't want everything looking cheap! Especially my dress!!! I don't hve to get a cheap one but it would be nice to be able to save £800 by having an alternative made - especially when I'll only wear it once and then it'll be stuck in the wardrobe / loft. ;o~

why do people refer to this as Ann?

I got mine from Ann and its beautiful look at my pics. Actually the pics dont do it justice. Its really good quality silk and lace and the beading is gorgeous I love love love it hehe

Thanks honey Im not having that wedding ring now :-( Im having one very similar but it had diamonds instead of rubies because we couldnt afford the other one. But H2B has said I can have that one as an eternity ring next year on our anniversary so im not to sad.
I deffo think you should keep Ann i mind. Although this is my 2nd dress I had from her. I ordered a ball gown from her assuming that when it came it would be the same just ivory and it was nothing like. She said they hadnt made it in ivory before and that they sometimes make it as close to. But she said that as I wasnt happy I could keep it and order a new one which I did and got the one thats on there. Its so similar to the Maggie Sottero one that its based on.
