I'm in two minds about this. I was just thinking of sending out the invites at around the 6 month mark (to those invited to the whole day and evening). I'm coming around to the idea of save the date's though x
We found them useful! We have a lot of family who live abroad and would need loads of notice to arrange flights, money and time off work! x

Iv only just started handing mine out (had them a couple of months but waiting for H2B to decide on who he wanted to have them!!) I like the idea of giving guests that little bit extra time if they need to book time off work or flights etc. xx

we ddi it and since its a new upcoming thing, none of our family had received them before and they were buzzing off them. We added a magnet to them though so people didnt lose them in a drawer and attached them to the fridge instead. I got some really small and powerful ones from ebay. I can give you the guys name if you want but I will have to find it. They are sooo small and yet unblievable powerful. We were amazed.

I didn't bother with them as got engaged exactly a year before we get married and as we are getting married at Xmas the hotel needed to know months before how many guests we have due to them being able to hold an xmas party

we just told everyone the date and made them write it down! lol. Although we're only inviting family and a few close friends so they're all desperate to come - they've pretty much all memorised the date now! haha

i GOT SOME AGES AGO BUT THEN CHANGED THE DATE LOL SO IVE JUST TAKEN THE MIDDLE OUT AND PUT A POEM IN THEN WHEN WE SEND THEM OUT WE WILL HAND WRITE THE DATE ON THEM
