I bought myself the 10 minute solution dvd but her voice annoys me!! I'm thinking I may have to get myself a personal trainer to kick me up the a*se!!! I'd got down to 10.2 on xmas eve and on nye my mother made me hop on the scales and OMG uh oh!!! 18 months hard hard work to venture on!!! YAY!!! :)

I shall be joining in this soon. But I'm going for inches rather than weight (mainly because I don't have a set of scales in the house, and I have a dress I want to diet/exercise into!) :-)

Well, after doing well last year (3st 2lbs off) I have had a great Christmas i.e. I have eaten sh*t-loads of very, VERY bad stuff!

So today I have ordered a treadmill from Argos, promised myself I will do the Wii Fit every day and that I must crack on with learning the new points system for Weight Watchers...

Bring on 2011's challenge - must lose 4 more stone...

I am the same as you Tinsel, I lost 3 1/2 stone last year with weight watchers and am now trying to maintain my current weight. I weighed myself just after Xmas day and was amazed to find I had lost a couple of pounds despite eating far too much stodge lol. BUT, when I weighed myself yesterday I have gained about 3 lbs :-(
This week I will be getting back on track eating healthily, and am going to find out about joining the local leisure centre! I will also go to weight watchers Wednesday night to have my weight recorded, to give me an incentive to be good lol. I am currently a old member and don't want to lose that!!
Good luck everyone with your weight losses xxxxx

H2B and I started to go swimming when we came back from our hols, which was great, but then it got cold lol!

I figured we can both use the treadmill and it works out cheaper than us both going to our local gym. Plus if it's right in front of me, I'll be more likely to use it than going to the gym. I hope...

Well done on your loss, Katkin :o)

I need to lose half a stone - from putting it on over christmas, however i am so busy i am currelty doing a full time course, working and planning the wedding that i dont have time to go to the gym as well. Does anyone have any suggestions of ways of losing weight without visiting the gym which i could fit into my busy schedule?

Lucky me has at least 18 months before we get married, so the diet starts now (purchased a set of scales today!) and both me and hubby to be are on the diet! x

I've just done an hour on just dance 2 and wii fit. Was scared to get on the wii fit as the little mii thing balloons when you've put on weight. After having got down to 10 st 2 last year I am now back up to 11 stone 2 and the wii fit wants me to be 9 st 3! Well I'd better get started then. It's hard when I have all this chocolate in the house. Will just have to develop will power I guess. I agree with Quartz, I don't want to regret not trying harder.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie too. I'm a lucky one though as I have 2 years before the big day. Ideally id like to drop to a size 10-12 (currently 12-14) but I've said it all before, been there done that, struggle all the time. I seriously need the motivation to succeed this time. Every day I look in the mirror and like what I see, but then when I see pictures, they look totally different to how I see myself in the mirror and I'm disgusted!!

So, attempt #1001, here we go, Wishing you all the best of luck, and here's to us all strutting our stuff down the aisle looking absolutely drop dead gorgeous, whatever size we are!!

ahhhh new year and first weigh in at slimming world is tomorrow! Hope my slight weight gain is not that bad - my house scales say about 2lbs - just hope the ones at group don't say more!

Still if i have put a fair few on at least i can get back on plan and stick to what i've been doing since august 2010 which helped me lose 1 stone 5

Can't wait to be able to get back to the gym properly. I love dance classes like Body Jam and get bored doing most normal aerobics stuff, but after my knee op, all I'm allowed to do at the moment is water aerobics and gentle use of an exercise bike :-( I think I need to lose a couple of inches from my hips and my waist, and tone up my top half a little. Am trying to save up enough to book a couple of sessions with a personal trainer at the gym for some additional advice.
