Hi ladies just wondering those of you who have made their own or bought foam bouquets/buttonholes etc how have you gone about storing them? My wedding isnt until Oct 2013 but have made a bouquet and am thinking its going to discolour over the year maybe if its left?

With anything that might discolour the best thing to do is to keep it out of sunlight, away from moisture, and from extremes of temperatures. Maybe you could wrap them in tissue paper, box them and store them on top of a wardrobe somewhere?

My moms artificial bouquet is in tissue paper and cardboard box (like shoe box)...and has been like that for the last 28 years...
not sure about 'modern' day bouquets, i can only assume materials used are better quality than they were 20+ years ago.. im sure someone on here will be able to help you better xx

I hadn't even thought about discolouration. I have most of the bits to start making my BMs bouquets so was going to start soon. I will watch this thread with interest xx

Mine are all in boxes in the spare room with lots of paper around the stem bit to keep it upright

I purchased my silk flowers a while ago. My friend made them up a few months ago and I am keeping them in boxes wrapped up in tissue paper.
