We thought about the 01d B@rn, but as the guest list grew, the venue had to get larger. We have provisionally booked the registrar - and have to confirm November this year. Sorted venue decorations and have now booked our cake.
Starting to think about flowers, and we are thinking of having silk rather than real, so will probably look at what is seasonal later this year. Decided on colours for the bridesmaids but as they are all in different parts of the country, its hard to get them all together to go window shopping. Just trying to decide when to start shopping for my dress - was thinking around September this year. Nothing much else I can do now really - might think about save the dates.

We are only having 60 including 10 children at the meal.. Evening they accomadate 150 however i think ill keep it small as the people i am inviting are part of our everyday lives :-) Im not having real flowers either! We have prov booked the registrar.. Booked venue / cake/ bus / car hire / photograper. Guess we are both super organised! Ill be looking at dresses soon as ive looked at many online and i havent seen any that i like! X Do you have colours in mind? We have ivory / champagne. X

I've found a dress on line that I like - but just sure as it has some colour in it (red) With regards to colour, I'm thinking Ivory for myself, with a deep red/burgundy colour for my bride maids. The other half has Scottish heritage so we are hoping to tie his tartan in somewhere too - colours are my worst nightmare at the moment.

Sounds lovely. I went to a wedding last year and they had red tartan on the mens waistcoats and it looked fab! Their bridesmaids wore red also so it all tied in nicely. :-)

Hows things maxine? Ive booked in for @ll @b0ut €v€ for this saturday! As im so picky so thought i best start looking early and see what suits me. Quite excited! My sister has ordered me save the date cards which are gorgeous so ill wait a few months before sending them out. Photographer also ticked off the list :-)

Hi Leanne All good here thanks. Hope you are well. I've not done anything new, but I have started thinking about dresses. Just can't seem to find a time/date when my bm's and me can all get together to go look for a dress or their dresses for that matter. Don't think we are having an official photographer, as we have several friends who are all really handy with a camera, who have all offered to do our photos. - Must say - I am more than a little nervous about this, but have seen loads of other work they have done - including other weddings, and their pics look good.

Im sure they will look great! Unfortunately i dont know anyone with a good enough camera or skills otherwise i could of saved alot of pennies!! My dress shopping yesterday went well too i know now what suits and what doesnt. Although im now stuck between two styles! Its hard geting everyone together i had that problem yesterday my mum was unable to come so had my two sisters. Will have to take the mother again as i cant pick one without her input!!

Hi! I live in Ebbw Vale. Getting married on Saturday 24th March 2018. The venue is booked, deposit paid and we have provisonally booked the registrar.
I've started thinking about colours and looked at wedding dresses online. My best friend and I have two appointments in June to look at dresses. I really have no idea what will suit me.

Hi lynsey. Congratulations! My advice is try all styles on you may be suprised. I did this with my first bridal appointment and was shocked to find the dresses that id thought would never suit actually did! I found the one at my second appointment :-) x
