By what you have said i would say that your mum is the one being selfish. Why is everyone else round you allowed to be happy or sad but you have to do things to keep everyone else happy??? Would your grandad want you to cancel?? Personally i wouldn't cancel cos it just seems like there will be another excuse next time you plan anything. Hope you manage to sort something out x

i wouldnt postpone your wedding if theres going to be like a year difference between his death sounds nasty but you still have to live your life and wouldnt your grandad like to see u excited about gettin married not upset n cancellin it, as for not bein able to speak about ur weddin coz ur sisters pregnant is disgusting its your weddin yeah shes havin a baby but your gettin married too id give your mum some space x

Cancel it, book a flight for you and your H2B, get married on a beach somewhere beautiful, all without telling anyone of course because you not allowed to talk about your big day,then when you get back have a party. If I were you I'd dump the lot of them and go and do it by yourselves! What can they do when you get back married? That way your Gramps will be here for the party watch your video and your sister is pregnant for goodness sake NOT ill or to fragile to hear wedding talk! *slaps head* PS this rant is not aimed at you but the selfish people you're surrounded by my lovely x

Im glad things are on the up for you I have found people are not as interested as i thought they would be but am soildering on bo0oking and planning with H2B
We will still have what we want and feel more of an acheivement that we have done it. These family members wont ever get this time back to help plan and get excited Thats the way we look at it to avoid getting upset over it.

don't read to much in to the fact hes being called in for the results my older sister as just had a cancer scar (both my mum and another sister have died of cancer) and she as now been given the good news it wasn't cancer though she is still having the lumps removed.
glad your family are now taking an interest and so nice of your sisters friend to stick up for you and get your point across, seems your family are on the selfish side and everything as to revolve around them.
