Ok I'm sorting the final arrangements for what I want for the Honeymoon. Only thing is, I have no idea what questions I need to ask. Got a few things, like cos it gonna be in Hawaii we need to fill out an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA). It an authorisation form. Costs $14 per person. Not sure if the travel agents will deal with that, or if we have to deal with it ourselves Any special packages available for our destination, etc. Just really unsure of what other important things I need to ask. Some help would be great ladies :) xx

When we went to New York last year, we had to do our ESTA ourselves. Its pretty straightforward and once you've done it its valid for 2 years. The travel agent will be able to tell you the proper website to use as there's loads out there that will charge you more just to process the application for you!

cool Gem, nice to know that there is someone that has done these forms. Is it just the basics like names, dob, residence. and things like criminal convictions to be declared? I only ever been on one holiday abroad and that was to paris. So I have no idea what I gotta do. xx

Yeah, basics, plus the address of where you'll be staying in Hawaii and I think you put your flight details on too but i think that was optional. don't worry about it. if i can manage it anyone can! :-) Immigration in the US can be a bit scary tho, the people on the desks never smile and have no sense of humour. just to warn you! whereabouts in Hawaii are you going? me and h2b want to go there for our honeymoon, a week there and a week in LA, ifs its possible! xx

I wanna stay at (and I know it gonna be expensive but I don't care) Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa. Its absolutely gorgeous. And I have a slight obsession with penguins, and they have penguins on site!! so happy bout it! The place is absolutely amazing. So gonna go with that one. There was another I liked. Aston Resorts Waikiki Circle. That is also nice. Pinkalice - It will be my second holiday abroad, and I have never booked one myself so gonna be all new experience for me. Lalabunni - I would have booked it then, had I known about it, but wouldnt have been worth it as I would have had to get another cos changing my passport before I get married. Really want it in my married name. I know waste of money changing it befoer it expires, but I don't wanna have a different surname on that to everything else x

We went to Vegas and New York last year and our travel agent sorted out our ESTA - so think it all depends on who you've booked with! A girl I work with went to Hawaii for her honeymoon and said it was the best place she's ever been too - and she's a well traveled lady! I'm sure you'll have a great time and just ask your travel agent lots of questions!! They're there to help you! Like Gem1102 said though - American customs have NO sense of humor! So tread carefully with them and don't crack jokes unless they do!! At the same time though, don't be scared about going through, they just take what they do seriously.
