We are a Victorian garden wedding venue in the heart of Beeston, and Nottingham’s first accredited sustainable wedding & events venue.

Many moons ago, our walled garden was tended to by a friendly chap named Fred. Having been built in the 1800s in Beeston, Nottingham, it had long been filled with vibrant, fuzzy peaches, the tallest climbing vines and fragrant blooms that flourished within its walls. When Fred passed away, the modern world was evolving, praising speed and convenience, leaving the garden without much purpose. The old bricks and little patch of land lay hidden away, reclaimed by nature for over 40 years.

Years later, Fred’s niece, Philippa Marshall, unlocked the gates and set out to restore the abandoned garden. Embarking on a long and muddy journey to create a quaint and un-ordinary events venue on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre. A venue that would one day welcome people, plants and nature seeking to relish in the magic of this once forgotten place. Today, that same magic is woven into your event as flowers, food and people come together inside these walls.

In 2026, we proudly renamed the venue Pippley Walled Garden, honouring Philippa’s courage to begin, her soil-covered fingers and many sleepless nights. Now stepping into our next chapter, we continue her legacy by nurturing the garden and hosting unforgettable, personality-filled weddings. From intimate outdoor ceremonies and romantic garden receptions to relaxed celebrations that feel entirely your own, Pippley is a wedding venue designed for couples seeking something a little different.

Since opening in 2012, we’ve hosted over 1,000 weddings. While that number may not rival a standard venue, each wedding is precious to us, and our calendar is carefully curated to preserve the beauty of our gardens and the well-being of our team. When you choose to host your wedding at Pippley Walled Garden, you’ll have exclusive use of our gardens and marquee for the whole day. Venue hire includes private use of our Georgian-style marquee, set against our spacious lawns, accommodating up to 200 guests, along with dedicated staff, chairs, tables, white linens, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. We offer a licensed space for civil ceremonies, providing a choice between the elegant marquee and the natural beauty of the garden, using the raised terrace or shaded bandstand. From the moment you enquire, we promise a transparent, stress-free planning process that helps you dream, design, and enjoy a day that is unmistakably yours.
