Looks great on you. One thing I would say is that maybe try it without the jacket? The dress is so intricate think it might be better just allowed to shine on its own! x

    Totally totally honestly?

I would love to see what it's like without the bolero..... I think the dress is stunning on you, but I think the bolero looks a bit awkward on you. Or maybe it's because your hair is down and the combo of that at the bolero is shortening your top half or something...... maybe it's something to do with how high it comes up around the neck at the back..... Either way I don't think it's the dresses fault, I think that looks wonderful and lush! xxx

I was unsure of the jacket too, but i didn't want pics taken without it as i hate my arms. .Do you think maybe i should try some more on before deciding for sure?? I'm going back on fri so i will get pics without the bolero. Xx

I would try some more on if you've only tried a couple, but not so many that it's confusing!I really loved trying dresses on, so could try them till the cows come home! I'm sure your arms are no where near as bad as you think they are xx

It's better to try on as many as you can before you buy. It helps avoid dress wobbles later.

Thankyou for being honest, my arms are awful. . .lost 3 stone so a tad fabby and after 5 kiddlywinks i have a few stretchmarks on the inner part of them although they are faded i am still conscious of them.

I was gonna say - judging what I can from those pictures, I really don't think your arms are likely to be as bad as you think they are.... we all have a distorted view of our own bodies - I say try it on again, get piccies without the jacket, and see what it looks like :-) If you're really not confident about them and would really feel better with something over your arms, I think it would be better with something like a light organza wrap or similar perhaps?

Its true, we tend to have this distorted view of ourselvs and see things that other people dont even notice. In reality we most probably dont look half as bad as we think! I am really bad and see myself as about 20 stone when I look in the mirror and even though I wear size 12 - 14 clothes I see myself as a lot bigger. And I see my stretch marks as epic when everyone else doesnt notice them. Try not to worry and just be proud that you have lost 3 stone! Good on you!! x

people will be focusing on how great you look overall and will not focus on individual details/body parts in the same way that you will. I understand though - I have got a lace bolero just in case for the big day because I HATE my arms. The shape's fine, but I have weird red blotchy skin. I hope that I just won't care on the day though! x

Also.... and i'm sorry but i have to be brutally honest here

before you put the order in

are you SURE that is THE dress? I only ask because in your pictures you lack "the glow". Maybe it was cause you'd had a long day or didnt feel up to having pics taken but just wanted to point it out

yes to the dress and no to the bolero for me... it makes it look too much a bit to covered up... and frumpy looking and heavy... sorry just my opinion... the dress is lovely... if you must go for a bolero then try others that are smaller thinner and lighter.. but honestly you do not need it... women make the mistake of covering things up that they think are wrong with them etc but infact you draw more attention to the fact your hiding something... if you are concious do some soimple toning excerisises in 3 mths you will see a lot of difference or feel more confident and there for not need a bolero ... plus in 3mths when you get married it will still be hot.... hope i didnt cause offence it really wasnt my intention xx

I love it, you look gorgeous
But if you are self concious about your arms You should get a nice lacy bolero to cover them, looks more delicate...that's what I'm hoping to get.
I'm not a big fan of strapless, well, I don't think many people can actually pull it off...but that's really b*tchy of me!! :/

Thankyou guys, I tried the bolero on as it came with the dress, i do love the dress and think it's the one my heart does somersaults everytime i see it, but i HATE having my pic taken, i'm very self conscious, plus i was knackered my 2 youngest were in hospiotal last week so not much sleep. Thanks for all your opinions, i think it's a definate no no for the bolero then, i wasn't keen on the sleeves of it anyway, bit too fussy. Xx

Gorgeous dress hun - It really does look fabulous on you (I actully went "awwwww") But agree with Modmother - you don't look to comfortable on the pics - obviously if your tummy does flips then it's for you.

Also can you try a lace shrug or wrap over the bolero...don't really think it suits the dress. The sleeves are wrong on it I think. Try it without the bolero and see how you feel.

How are you having your hair?

I'm thinking of having my hair half up half down, as i prefer my hair up, but my H2B prefers it down, so will comprimise. Sijen, thats a really lovely comment, thankyou, as i said i really do hate having my pic taken hence why we are not having any posed pics at the wedding just unexpected ones. . .I always seem to look better in these ones. Am off back to the shop tomorrow, so will take pics without jacket. Thanks for all your opinions girlies, you're all fab!!! Xx
