Just wanted your opinion really on the vows I have written for our ceremony. There are mine, my H2B will read his own
When I´m with you, I feel I can be the person I want to be, and I cannot imagine my life without you. You make me smile, you stick up for me, you take care of me and I know you always will. I am honoured that you will have me as you wife and I am proud to have you as my husband. Since we have been together, you have provided me with strength, security, confidence, honesty, love & plenty of much needed guidance.
I give you this ring* as a sign of my love and devotion. From this day we will stand together through all that life offers. I will give help and support through times of hardship and share times of joy. I will love you as I do now, for the rest of our lives.

Beautiful. Absolutely from the heart, and it covers everything that is in the normal legal vows. Have you checked that you're allowed to say your own vows instead of the standard ones? I think there may be some legal requirements, and it would be such a shame to write something so beautiful and not be able to use it.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Yes these are in addition to the legal bits in the civil ceremony. We have to send them off on a form so they can confirm that they are ok but from all the notes pretty sure they are ok :-)

They are lovely....there won't be a dry eye in the house!
We wanted to write our own as I think the civil ceremonies can be a bit 'sparse' but h2b has gone off the idea xx

Really lovely. I think it is a really nice idea adding something to the standard vows. There won't be a dry eye among the guests!

My advice ignore anyone who says they can't hear you read your vows they are for you and hubby. Someone moaned at me for not shouting them out and thought it was kinda rude and took it a little too much to heart so please ignore them and don't do what I did
Live for today
This cat is not in pain.....it's meowing noooo not UKB again
