So we went to view our official photo's on Tuesday afternoon...I was very pleased with the result, but couldn't help but feel disappointed that the photo I had requested with my side of the family, and one with my Nan and Granddad were missing, not to mention the signing of the register also. After the photographer had shown us the photo's and knew we were pleased she asked "did you notice anything missing?" I said obviously about the photo's I had noticed had not been included, the one of my Nan and Granddad were disappointing me the most, she continued to tell us that on the Friday night after the wedding, she had put the memory cards onto her computer to upload/back up etc, when one of the memory cards failed of the whole ceremony and formal photos. Luckily she had been taking photo's on 2 cameras but the majority of ceremony shots were on this said memory card. She had to send the card off to 4 different places to try and recover the photographs only to manage to find a little local shop that had recovered the majority, but those of family and the register signing had not. I know this is not technically her fault as with digital equipment anything can happen, but as we hadn't had a wedding album included in our package she has offered us a £400 album for free as compensation! AND has offered to take a family shoot with those who were missing. I know I cant get those photo's back but I think she has really given us enough compensation with the album, and if it hadn't been such important images, we wouldn't have necessarily noticed. Also anyone that would like to see our wedding slideshow, I shall put a link on my wall as still haven't worked out how to upload the pictures i have to an album on this new laptop :)

I think if i could wear my dress again it would be fab lol but having all my family together for the sake of it? don't think they'd go for it, Only want my grandparents really i think luckily, i forgot to add, i asked the videographer for a still as he filmed the photos also of course, he said he'd do his best x

I guess even some of the most professional people in the world have an off day, but that doesn't really help you. At least she is trying to make up for it with some form of compensation, and I hope your videographer comes through for you!
