just near fainted when iv just read my list of what i still have left to do

12 weeks to go until D day i want things ready and finished 2 weeks before the big day so that i can chill and breath

but i didnt realise there was this much left to do

.get invites and post them
. pick reading and peoms and make the cards for them to go on and elect people who we want to do them
. have a meeting with the registra about reading vows and rose ceremony
. finish making favors and bags for favours and the beaded ribbons for favours (bracelets and cufflinks)
. make table centre pieces
.make the 150 crystal droplets for the table centre peices
. finish making the top table decorations
. finish wedding flowers
. finish toiletry baskets
. make 100 cork escort card holders
. make escort card
. make order of service
. make tags for sweet buffet out of lace and ribbon and buckles
. make 100 candy bags with stamps on them and ribbon and diamantes
. dress fittings
. make 100 menus cards
. make 100 napkin rings
. finishing booking hen night
. finish making the cake toppers
. go and have a finial meeting with the cake shop and change some stuff
. change car details as change of address and they will charge
. make poems up for the escort card instructions , toiletress, signing frame and old pictures of married people to put in frames
. print and collect pictures of guests on their wedding days and put in frames
.paint frames to match colour scheme
. order and pick BM shoes
. learn how to dance.
. make a seating plan for the venue so they know where to serve what
. write a list of suppliers for venue
. make props for the candy buffet
. source props for candy buffet to make it vintagey
. decide on sweets
. make 50 macaroons and have trials at it to


omg.... think thats everything... but might not be ive proberly forgot something else too

Sounds like you need to enlist the help of some very good friends. If I lived nearer I would help you out but your too far away :0(

wow thats a list hun, but dont panic u still have plenty of time. sit down and work out what needs to be done A.S.A.P and then then work from there xxx

Pick one project ..... finish it and move on to another ......and stop stressing!!! You will be fine! x

Time for a deep breath! I'm sure you'll be fine - get h2b involved and helping!!

I would prioritise and sort out what you really need and what you can live without. I know you want your napkin rings but is it the end of the world if you run out of time and can't do them? Work out what you need to do and start making things in order of importance. That way if you get time all well and good but if you do run out of time no one will know that you were going to do half of it.

croc on ebay u cud just get 100 persoanlised napkins for £20 wud save u time and name cards 100 for like £5!

i blame my new found craftyness and this site for giving me fab ideas haha

wow...that is alot. think you need to start on the list! i am getting married in 4 months and 12 days and all the planning is done. i didnt want to be stressing!

once you get into doing everything it will be done before you know it xx

clare - not impressive... stupidity i think the word is... no one can do what i want so hence the DIY

and nicky- yep i need to add that to the list... pay off the wedding.. thankfully all the money is in my savings account but still need to pay it off

plus i need to have a pre wedding shoot done with the new photographer and meet him at the venue so he knows where i want piccies as hes never done our venue before!!

ah well no life for me until after the wedding!!

and we still havent unpacked the whole house yet!!!

I am with Jo ..... prioritise your list with the most important at the top and least important at the bottom. Work your way down so the most important are finished first. Fingers crossed you get through everything but if not then the least important does not matter! x

dont worry ... it may look a lot but some of it just a small job that not take that much of ur time so u cud cross a few off in one day and have a few girly day with moh bridesmaids and mothers ,,,, that what they are there for lol

poems done (thanks to a lovely bride to be!)

and all done today...

becky- outsourcing means contracting a 3rd party... basicalled roped someone else in to doing them so i dont have to .... but i made her think it was her idea!!!!
