Mostly excited now things are being paid. It was a huge worry before fil2b gave us a cheque for 1k as a wedding present, it was like winning the lottery at this stage of scrimping and saving! lol xx

Yes he is the only person to help us with anything, so he's a hero in my eyes! Hardly anyone, other than a few exceptions, seem remotely interested in the wedding part, more excited about the holiday! grrrr xx

I think it would be very risky to take a cake with you on the journey. There are many great bakerys in Cyprus and their prices are great compared to UK prices. I am having a 3 tier cake, each tier having a different flavour - chocolate truffle, vanilla and lemon. This is costing me £120. A similar cake here would cost me £300 +

it's risky travelling with the cake. think about the change in air pressure!!
my cake is costing 180euros and the cake maker is including delivery, set up, cake stand, cake pillar and knife :)

Thats a really good price too Kisywisy. Soula the lady from the evening taverna is picking up the cake for me and she has several 3 tier cake stands to put it on. We have bought a knife and server as we wanted it as something to keep and use if for future birthdays/anniversary cakes (I plan to eat lots of cake in the future) Just not taking them in cabin luggage as I may get stopped by securuty. lol xx

between us, we have 4 people who can take on hand luggage. i'm planning on the dress being one of the kids' allowance. bms will have their dresses and bouquets in their own bags. if they forget them, i'll maul them!!! lol

I know I told Steve that I 'accidentally' bought it......made an offer on ebay but told Steve I didnt realise that if they accepted the offer you had to commit to buy, told him I was just testing to see how low I could make an offer for,,,,,,,,,,,,ok little white lie but Reece is going to love it! lol

wow!!! never seen anything like that before!!
i think my 2yo would die off if we put her in that. she has a serious phobia of heights and falling. she's been like that since she was born and screamed every time we lifted her high up (as you do to play with babies). very strange, especially as none of us has a fear of heights!!

My son is the same he never stays still for one than 2 seconds. Luckily theres straps and a play table that comes over the head so yu can have it as a head rest too. Should keep him quiet, if I get a few trains for him to play with on the table when we are not moving.

Our baggage restrictions for hand luggage are 56cm x 45cm x 25cm I contacted the seller regarding the bag and it would fit. Not sure what your baggage restrictions are. xx
