Im not happy in the slightest me and h2b have been thinking and making table decorations to go on our table and he told his mum on the phone we were and coz we live with my mum so i said ask them what they are up to on sunday and thought we made it clear just his mum and dad and his younger brother coz h2b hasnt saw him for a about 3 months now and said we will do some dinner for them while there here (aka order pizza/chinese) Sunday came me and h2b went to pick them up as they can drive bearing in mind its 8 miles to their house and 8 back so we went in and mil2b said "o didnt know you were coming" meaning me so i replied "yea coz we want to show you wedding reception and church" then she turn to h2b and said "can you fit 4 of us in the car" he said "no only 3" so she quit coldly told him to tell one of his brother or sister there not coming (i dont like his sister anyway as last year she put tomato ketchup on my car just coz h2b asked her a question and she skitz out on me) when we ready to leave mil2b says i want cesca (his sister) to come not luke (his brother) so i said fine on the way we showed them the reception and they wanted to go inside which i already explained we cant coz they have a wedding on so mil2b got strop on, we then went to the church and just outside his sister says "so i take it im not being a bridesmaid as i have been for all my other brothers ((he has 3 older brother)) and it would be odd if im not for this brother" to that i ignored the comment mil2b said "cesca you would make a lovely bridemaid" i felt like screaming "YEA AND THIS IS MY WEDDING AND YOU SHOULD THINK YOURSELF LUCKY YOUR COMING" then they stayed for 2 hours and then wanted to go coz dinner their dinner is ready so we took them back never once said thank you or anything and ithey are soo ungreatful i just wanna scream

she is invited i have my cousin who are more like sisters to me who i want to be bridesmaids and i thought it was my choice not hers and i felt like saying to his mum "look when your payingfor the wedding thats when you can tell me about bridesmaids and who would look good as one"

This is the beginning of all the madness to come, and with nearly 2 years ahead of you it WILL get worse before it gets better (sorry to give you such happy news) Stand your ground, choose the BMs YOU want to have and beggar the rest of them. If your H2B feels the need to include her in the WP then there's always the role of Usherette. Don't feel pressured or bullied into it - all you'll get is a heap of stress for no reward and you don't need that drama!!

You've seen what's going on with me and mine sazabell my love - whatever happens you need to make yourself look whiter than white then they can't come back at you with anything. Your H2B needs to tell the family that you're both doing it your way and although 'you appreciate the input' the final decision rests with you 2. There's more than 1 way to skin a cat petal, find a way that doesn't come between you and your hubby xxx

I really do know how you feel sazabell - the trouble is this; Like it or not they're his family and loyalties, especially with men, can be a potential minefield. If you go in shouting the odds or brandishing your fists it WILL upset him and then to make it worse his 'rents WILL say to him you're an obnoxious thingymebob and should he really be marrying someone that volatile, plus if he sees you going batscat every time they upset you it gives gravity to what they say and the the doubt sets in. By all means tell him how you feel but do NOT give them any ammunition to throw at you otherwise you'll lose out big time!!

You could tell her that your BM's haven't been a BM yet and she's had 3 goes at it, you thought she'd enjoy taking a back seat and enjoying the party, you are being very demanding on your BMs and you didn't want her to have the pressure on top of being such a wonderful sister. Oooh you could say that you chose your BM's as they aren't as pretty as you and you feared she might show you up by being more beautiful than the bride (just warn your BM's before hand so they know its not true).
Blag it. I'm having to do with one of my bff's, but at the end of the day I don't want her to have the stress of being my BM when I have 3 others who are more than willing to handle my bridezilla moments.
