hi ladies...well i am back from my honeymoon! i didnt wear my ring while away and put it on yesterday and a diamond has fallen out! so upset!
i took it back to the shop and they were so awful to be so had to take it somewhere else!
been married 2 and a half weeks and without my wedding ring already! xx

My ring is insured and my mum had a ring insured but when she went back with hers when a diamond came out she was told she had to pay to get it fixed as they said it looked as though she forced it out even though it fell out! I read my insurance details and it looks like we pay to insure it and get sweet FA even if it breaks or gets lost or stolen! xxx
no its not insured. we bought it last september so although it should still be under warrenty they are saying it isnt. the person in shop told me he would have to speak to his shop manager and kept be waiting 15 mins as he couldnt find her and then told me that they would have to sent it away for a quote for the work and then get it back phone me and then send it away again! i nearly cried in the shop as it seemed like he didnt even want to help me as it wasnt from that store!
i have taken it to ashop i trust now but they told me the shop should fix it for free so i am writing a formal complaint to the head office xx

A stone fell out of a ring I had years ago (from an ex, ssshhh!) and the shop basically accused me of pulling it out! It took ages to get a new one out of them, but we did in the end. Hopefully the nice shop will sort it out :-) x

I got my wedding ring engraved and it feels like my finger is being sandpapered so I can't wear it half the time.... gutting! Don't reallyt know what to do about it...

well everyone i got my ring back on tuesday by wed evening the diamond had fell out again!
took it to where we got it from today and they are giving me a brand new one. will have it in a week! we have also got in insured for 5 years just incase something happens again!
by the time i get it back i will have been married 7 weeks and not actually worn my wedding ring xx

Kaya, H2B does engraving and says that whoever did it should have sorted it out but to do it yourself get a fine grade (double O!) sandpaper (it's what jewellers use) you gently rub it on the inside! I'd take it back to where it was done and complain though! xx
