Need some suggestions please ladies. We've opted not to use the Church organist, if he's got a piece of music in front of him to play he's alright but when left to his own devices it sounds like a cat's being strangled :S The good Reverend suggested we compiled a CD to play on the day (including hymns, entrance & exit music) He doesn't mind what we choose as long as it's within reason, which rules Faithless & The Prodigy out :( hehe
Got a few tracks but was wondering if any of you know any lovely songs that would be apt for the guests to listen to before our arrival and during the signing of the register.

    So far we've got;
From This Moment - Shania Twain
    Heaven - Bryan Adams
Show Me Heaven - Maria McKee
Take My Breath Away - Berlin

Both of us love You're The First, My Last, My Everything by Barry White but not sure if it's suitable.

    Ideas???

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

I know this is really unhelpful, but are you sure Show Me Heaven is suitable? Isn't that about people "doing it"?

Loving it Dove - thank you my darling!! xxx

TattieSoup - I suppose yes, that's how it COULD be construed but it's one of 'our' songs. When we first started going out he posted it to my Facebook wall and his intentions were strictly chivalrous (sp?) You've got me thinking now though, may have to go look up the lyrics again and double check :S xxx

We went to a wedding recently and the bride entered the room to Madnesses "It must be love" : )
Im def going down the pop route rather then a traditional song, atm my list consists of :
    Mclean - My name
    Beyonce - Halo
David Guetta - When love takes over

My ultimate would be an instrumental version of Lily allens f**k you but i cant find a good version : (
