We went to a wedding fayre today with my mum and I was very excited to find a lovely shop there selling mother of the bride outfits, we'd talked about going out shopping on day to help my mum pick something. She was very excited as well as she never takes the time to treat herself. However, I've looked online since and the prices are ranging from £400 - £700, which is a little much for my mum :(
Where's a good place to go look for a nice mother of the bride outfit that isn't going to cost a stupid amount?

My mum got hers in the January sale of bridal shop. It was discounted from 500 to 50 and looks lovely on her. My sister got married last year and mum went into the same shop and paid over 500 for a full outfit (inc. A hat which she can still wear to mine). Im very happy for her!

Hmmm - might let her know that, she can have a look now and next year as our wedding isn't until next August, thank you

You could always look in Debenh@ms and house of Fraser, they usually have some nice outfits that would work for mother of the bride :) xxx

Im struggling too with this, I want to help find a lovely outfit for mum but can't! She has cellulitis and so has permanent swelling in her feet now which she is desperate to hide on the day. I will deffo take her to bridal shops now you've said that! Always worth a try!
