with my wedding been an alternative style wedding with gothic undertones, seen as me and my OH are gothic/emo its been difficult to find our perfect song.
we have so many different types of music we listen to but needing something to suit us perfectly we decided on something heavier then most standard songs. so we have picked 'Stay' now im guessing you have heard of this been shakespears sisters but it wasnt quite right. So seen as one of my favourite bands is Cradle Of Filth please listen

thanks. i cant really ask my family on their thoughts as they frown on the idea of a gothic styled wedding so any thoughts i have they instantly turn their nose up at and make me feel like i should do it their way.

That's a shame. I think a Gothic wedding would suit you two as a couple. As long as you are happy that's the main thing. My H2B and I are similar to you, we like the heavy metal music and we like you song choice for a first dance. So if you like it go for it :)

i can come up with many wild ideas for parties but this one been the most important one i'll ever plan, im at a loss at times as like ive said marriage was never thought about all the time i was growing up. typical tomboy with a guys outlook on life but woman all the same lol
ive 3 kids i throw bday parties every year that are becoming more inventive as yrs go one. I think the biggest kicker i've had so far is i planned on doing a medieval spit roast meal but i cant find a venue that will allow me to and the ones that will we cant afford :(

I am struggling with venues to hold our reception nowhere seems perfect for us. I am the same as you didn't really think about marriage until I met H2B. Are you anywhere near Camden?

I actually love it! Good choice. i play the guitar and used to be a bit of metal chick (neon blue hair streaks anyone! lol) i am more of an acoustic girl these days but i still appreciate a good song :-)

we have found a hotel that will allow us to hold the wedding the way we want but im also hoping for another place to become available real soon, its along side the lough we live near (you probably know it as loch) in an old castle ground, its all wooded and there is a river with a rustic stone bridge over it. but its not got its full approval yet. that would be perfect for us and it falls under goverment wedding so its actuall going to cost under £220 to marry there. so we on a timer, because if we wait for the castle ground wedding to be approved we could loose the hotel

Ah i see. That's a shame you would have found so much inspiration there. It's where I go to get my goth stuff but it sells all sorts :) That castle sounds amazing hope that works out for you sounds really good

i'd love to go there but it means spending money in flights that could be spent on the wedding, staying with dan family would make it cheaper true enough but still flights vary from £28 to £200 :(
