i think a pick n mix stand is a good idea although there may be a few hyper young children around , if u got room how about a bouncy castle all adults love them wether they admit it or not lol
CommentAuthorcatch
l am haveing a pick n mix sweet bowl but l am pre bagging them (hygiene thing) they will go out with the buffet so the kids eat dinner first and the big kids lol x
i found a site that supplys you with a cinema style pick and mix counter and all the bags which looks pretty cool. might look in to a candy floss stand, the bouncy castle sounds like a good idea so will look into that

We're thinking of having a table dedicated to Sweeties! :) jars filled.. Or we might fill jars with different sweets and scatter them round the tables... :) like centerpieces.. but with a difference.. maybe sprinkle pink rose petals around them.. :) x arrrr yeah I like that idea bestest! :) ooooh happy now.. just saved a bomb on centerpieces! x
CommentAuthorLucie
i would be very happy at your wedding! i love sweets. We're gonna have sweets as favours but just cant quite agree for any length of time which one to go for as our childhoof favourite! i do like the idea of a jar on each table... gives table names then! oohh might just do that! x

All sounds pretty good to me, I also have a huge sweet tooth, and am a big kid.. We're searching for things to really make it "our Day" and encorporate our personalities into the whole thing :)
CommentAuthorRoxii
Well, we looked into the pick n mix counter but found that it's like £400 for the stand, then £100 for the sweets!! Omg... Tooo much money.. If we save loads of different jars and just fill them up, it'll be soo much cheaper :) x
CommentAuthordeedee
Roxii really loving the idea of jars of sweets as centre pieces mite copy that idea thanks xx
CommentAuthorRoxii
No worries. I'm not telling my family yet though.. I can't keep things to myself, so this place is heaven.. Means I can tell people our ideas (cause my H2B is a genius.. lol he has some good ideas too), without my sister finding out.. She'll copy me with everything she can.. lol, she's only getting married 'cause I am. And, she's doing it before mine.. so as long as I keep things sshtum til september 1st... then she can't copy me! mind you, I think her budget is like £300 or something stupid. hahaha. Anyway, enough ranting about my sister :P x
CommentAuthorbridetobe1990
