i found a site that supplys you with a cinema style pick and mix counter and all the bags which looks pretty cool. might look in to a candy floss stand, the bouncy castle sounds like a good idea so will look into that

i'm thinking traditional sweets in glass jars, sarsaparilla tablets, rhubarbs and custards, may throw some jellies in the mix for the kids.
I would like a chocolate fountain for the evening too but htat's cos i have a very sweet tooth and am off the sweeties bbetween now and then

Well, we looked into the pick n mix counter but found that it's like £400 for the stand, then £100 for the sweets!! Omg... Tooo much money.. If we save loads of different jars and just fill them up, it'll be soo much cheaper :) x

No worries. I'm not telling my family yet though.. I can't keep things to myself, so this place is heaven.. Means I can tell people our ideas (cause my H2B is a genius.. lol he has some good ideas too), without my sister finding out.. She'll copy me with everything she can.. lol, she's only getting married 'cause I am. And, she's doing it before mine.. so as long as I keep things sshtum til september 1st... then she can't copy me! mind you, I think her budget is like £300 or something stupid. hahaha. Anyway, enough ranting about my sister :P x

I'm so glad i'm not the only one thinking about sweet jars or stands I wasn't sure if it would go down well but I love the idea, I found a place that sells all different sized retro jars and they're really cheap to buy. And another website with all the sweets, scoops and bags. Love the cinema style stand sounds great fun. xx
