I always wanted mine over my face as I thought that was the point of having a veil but now most pictures of brides I look at just have it clipped at the back so im not sure what I am doing yet. Would need to practice having it lifted back and I suppose that will also alter how I have my hair etc. eek so many decisions!!
CommentAuthorSusie
I am having mine over my face, I didnt think i would want one, but once i had tried one on in the shop, i knew i wanted one!
CommentAuthorBev
I don't think I want a veil... I tried one on and felt a bit to formal... I don't think it's really 'me', so I'm going with a side jewelled comb thingy (I've completely forgotten what they're called!)
If I was to wear a veil though I'd wear it at the back of my hair, not over my face x
CommentAuthorRachaelW54
Im having mine over my face, think it looks fabulous but i know some people dont like them if they feel a bit claustrophobic x
CommentAuthorRinny
I quite fancy wearing one - but not over my face. I'd probably end up smearing all my make-up or something awful like that x
CommentAuthorMickaylaH
I have a veil and I wanted to wear it over my face though I can't as I will end up having a panic attack.

CommentAuthorChantelleR
oh yes! when i went for my dress fitting i had one on and for me personally thats the whole point of a veil.
My moh is going to put it down outside the church and my dad is going to lift it when he 'gives me away' lol :)
CommentAuthorFutureMrsWills
I'll be having a birdcage veil so it may be a bit over my face but not all of it.
CommentAuthorFernP61
I'm only having one cos were getting married in a church and I couldn't resist it in the shop deffo not having it over my face but too old fashioned for me x
CommentAuthorCheekyTerri
I'm having a two-tiered veil, with it over my face walking up the aisle. I'll get my dad to lift it when he hands me over!

I'm having a single-tier cathedral length veil clipped into my hair at the back. I'm not a big fan of the look of double tier veils personally, and I don't like the symbolism.
CommentAuthorWhovianbride
im so not sure, I think i will have to go and try some with the dress once its in, i think i want a longish one al back with sparkle and maybe a lacy trim as the dress is quite plain but suppose i will have to wait and see

I'm having a single tier because of the detailing on the back of my dress. Also I think I'd feel daft with it over my face, and I know my Dad would feel silly taking it off my face. And... the veil is a sign of innocence that my two BF BMs would giggle about :P The problem of having uni housemates as your BMs!! :D

during the 90's and Nougtys it became very unfashionable to have veil over your face or at all, but people like Kate Middleton, her now cousin Zara Phillips and Kate Moss have show how cute It can look! Im really slowly coming over to the veil side I think!

I'm wearing a veil, hair up and veil cliped to the underside... that way my lovely (undecided on style) will be on display for everyone to see and my H2B lifts my veil for our first kisses as hubby & wifey xx

I am having a short veil and wearing it at the back / bottom of my head , as I have short hair if I wear it over my face I look like I have no hair !! I do love the look over the face though but understand the ladys who feel suffocated by it xx
CommentAuthorMichelleNearlymrsD
I'm wearing mine on the back ...definitely not over my face....this is just my opinion, but I think cos I've had three kids with my h2b it's just not for me, feels like I'm pretending to be some virginal, innocent thing which I'm obviously not haha, my sister who gets married next May feels the same. My mum on the other hand wore hers over her face and she had two kids and was pregnant with my brother so everyone's different xxxx
