So with 7 weeks to go, I have now realised that a member on this site, that has posed as having her own wedding planning business, who has taken a deposit off me for Giant Garden Games & informed me I had won a candy buffet for my day, is nothing but a selfish lying cheat!

I gave her the benefit of the doubt when the website disappeared, FB page vanished & she had not been on here for a while.
I was told, when I finally received a reply form her husband that she was in hospital, due home very soon and would be honouring all prior commitments but is closing the company down.
Before I sound like a heartless cow, it was something that would be solved in a few months with no lasting effects.

So she called me a week or so later as I asked, said she would still like me to have the games, will refund my deposit and do them free of charge. She could not honour the candy buffet but was going to find someone in my area and pay for it as she felt terrible for letting me down. She asked me to allow her 2 weeks.
That was end of May!
Since then she will not pick up the phone to me or reply to any of my messages

So annoyed that people do this to others, especially when its such an important event.
So cross right now & also on the look out for cheap giant garden games if anyone knows where I can get some?

If I had chance Tracey, I would but have so much on in the coming weeks!!! Just need to get it sorted first really.
I dont think she is actively taking on new clients but then she sucked me into the lies and allowing her time to sort it for me, she is very believable and I am not a gullible person generally but been stung here!

Its the garden games that have upset us as she was doing them for a great price, and they are something we really want. The Candy buffet was an added bonus but not the end of the world we wont be having it

I really hope you manage to get the games you want in time she could at least let you know that shes not bringing them for you so you could of had time to find an alternative I hate people like that who rip people off x

so if shes had time to come online shes had time to message you back hun its disgusting the way some people treat others fair due if she has a valid enough reason but then her partner should of rang to let you know x

Uh oh! Have you got insurance you might be able to claim for failure to turn up on her part... Also I've you paid her through PayPal try may give you back your money x

I paid by cheque last year and she has cashed the money!
I do have insurance but not sure what they will refund if she refuses to respond?

I saw some on g'pon the other week, if only I had put my doubts ahead of me and ordered them!!!!!!!

We are in East Anglia
A lot of companies I have approached are stupidly expensive or only hire games with inflatables :-(

What a selfish person just goes to show how easy it is to advertise your own business! X

JTF is a wholesaler style place... sells stuff to trade and public... stuff like hot tubs, garden stuff, party stuff... random stuff! Like a bargains place!
