Yes, we are hoping to have one, we just need to make contact with a celebrant. I've not been to one before, but they are supposed to be really personal
Now a Mrs!

I had one back in September...and I'm so glad i did
my celebrant was fantastic and came to the house and asked me and mike how we met etc and totally personalised it to our taste...added a bit of humour into it bu made it so special and mentioned the guests that had travelled and about my dad who passed away and couldnt be there :) xx

aww that sounds lovely! i really want a ceremony that reflects our backgrounds and personality and iv heard they are a bit longer than civil ceremonies. Cant have a religious ceremony as the OH doesnt believe in any of that so this sounds like our cup of tea!! xxx

We're having a humanist ceremony. My cousin had one and it just felt very right for her and her (now) husband. I didn't even consider anything else, to be honest.
We're even allowed to have little cultural Jewish references for my heritage (I'm a Jewish atheist) and we're having some lovely readings and a couple of songs... Okay so it will last longer than a civil ceremony, but it'll be personal and fun.

We're having one back in London. H2B's parents aren't able to come to Vegas so we are having a blessing in our local park for close family and friends. It will be conducted by a friend of ours who is a white witch. Have no idea what to expect, but I have faith in our friend that it will be fabulous and full of love. Hx

We're having one too......our celebrant Annie is just lovely. Neither myself or my H2B are particularly religious, but it felt right for us, more personal than a civil ceremony. xx

My friend Lorna had a humanist ceremony in June and it was absolutely beautiful. I'm planning on having an interfaith celebrant as I am quite spiritual and my H2b is agnostic, the celebrant I have chosen seems lovely. xx

we wanted one but it isn't a legal thing so we went for reg office as we couldn't afford celebrant and the reg office, we were originally were going to do a little reg office ceremony with a few people then a humanist ceremony but money was low we still had a lovely ceremony exactly how we wanted it and we chose an american Indian reading . then we had a bbq in the sunshine and a boogie in the evening, perfect hope you can do it
Enjoying being a wifey!!
Currently baking a small person at last, took a while :)

This is legal in Scotland I believe but not in England for some reason. Not sure why. I am having a Humanist ceremony, can anyone tell me what to expect? I have never been to a humanist ceremony but I am an athiest and so is partner, so thought twas best option. How does it work?
