I am so angry today and need to vent !!! .... when we got engaged my SIL2B had a rant at us and refused to talk to me since as i didnt ask her to be my Bridesmaid, i chose my 2 best friends instead. Anyway she was apparently very hurt and upset so stopped talking to us - we have ages to the wedding yet so she will come round and im not backing down so left her too her little strop, at 32 you would think she had grown up !
Anyway today, she texts me saying she is poor as her boyfriend has ran off with her money and left her with nothing and no food and needs to borrow some money... i was fuming. She doesnt work, never has done, severly over weight and lives on benefits. She had a nice heart but doesnt help herself and i dont have much time for her as think she needs to get a job and stop with the self pity and the world owes her a living apparently!! So i text her back saying 'Sorry i don't get paid until next week and all money budgeted for this month for the wedding and holiday' and her reply was 'Cant you take the money out your wedding fund? Im not coming anyway so use that money for me instead?' How bloody rude !!! Too right she isnt coming or having money from me.
Sorry i needed to vent as really angry today !!

My entire dad's side of the family are rude ect, my dad wasnt even told his brother had died, he found out through a friend, so i think its safe to say they wont be invited to my wedding.
But hope you dont feel angry for too long, its not fair that she is asking you to do anything like that!

She isnt coming as we didnt ask her to be our bridemsaid... her choice not mine. She was angry after we got engaged and heard through the family and i asked her if anything was ok and she said actually im not as you have forgotten me as your bridesmaid, i explained i hadnt forgotten but choose my friends and not my sister or H2B's 2 sisters so she isnt the only one, she replied saying, well if i mean that little than have a nice wedding as i wont be there. This was months ago so i thought it would have blown over but o no she really isnt coming !!

Tell her you WILL help her-once she gets off her backside, and gets herself a job! She has to make the first move. Tell her ou put up with any melodramatics either. None of this " woe is me, who will employ me?" etc..... She needs to prove to herself and everyone else she is worth helping!

Its like Jeremy Kyle combined with Eastenders, Haha !! She is 33 and never really worked a day in her life, when the government hand benefits out so easily to over weight, lazy people then why would she want make an effort to work?
She text me, her sister and brother but funny enough she didnt text my H2B (her other brother) as knows the answer as i tend to be the softer one but H2B put his foot down and said no ! ah well its one less for me to pay for at the wedding so saved me nearly £50, thats extra money for the honeymoon pot !! xxx

Grr. I think benefits are brilliant for people who need them, but it annoys me when people get benefits simply because they are lazy! At least she won't be at your wedding and you save money on her meal xxx

I could rant on about benefits too as got some strong opinions but only winds me up more. In my opinion i am already paying for her by working and paying tax and her claiming benefits so not paying out twice !! I could give the benefit office a few benefits frauds names too but Karma will catch them eventually so i dont need too, Haha xx

What a cheek! I would have told her that there isnt any spare money as the money you would have payed for her is going to something worth while now! Id be tempted to text her suggesting she used the money she would have spent on your wedding present- money you are sure she must have set aside, to buy herself a suit and start attending job interviews!!
