    Hi ladies,

Can you tell me how much your paying for transport to/from your wedding - I have never had anything to do with organising transport!!! I'm not really fussed what we go in and I can't decide if it will just be me and my dad or us two and my 3 bridesmaids!!!

I need one as cheap as possible - but for now I just need to know what is reasonable and what is extortion!!

    Thanks ladies!!

    Hey there,
We've got 2 cars, paid £520 for a vintage Austin Berkeley for me and my dad to travel in and a 50's Daimler Van Den Plas Princess (seats 7) for my mom and the girls. I think that is the average although some companies charge a lot more. I am new to all this and didn't realise needed a car for mom/girls but mom was really excited about having one, didn't want her to be disappointed.

    Hope that helps.
    x

Clarebella - whatkind of car are you having??

Dee37 - I never knew I had to get one for my mum!! Its really hard becauseI would like my mum to be with me, I know its not tradition, but my parents split up and cant stand each other (both since married to new partners) so that can't be done!!

Ahhh I only have a budget of 3k but my budget is looking at being about 6k without cars, flowers and decorations!!

Everyone has to do things their own way to suit them, I'm staying at moms the night before and we're all going from there, she's travelling with the bridemaids. But don't worry if that doesn't suit your plans, there's lots of different things people do for weddings but doesn't mean everyone sticks to the same things.

It is amazing how costs can go up, i think my biggest shock was photographers prices, just doing a spreadsheet as we speak to work out final reception costings.

i've paid £120 for a Bentley Arnage to take Adam and his best man to the wedding and hang about for a few photos. Apparently thats really cheap though so I don't think thats a typical price!

lolli - where are you getting married? We booked our campervan up at Gretna where we got married and I think he only does local weddings. I can stick the link on your wall if you want though. If you can't get that one though, there tends to be lots of companies doing them around the country (we googled first).

We're having a black impala chevy, a replica of the car from the show "supernatural". We've been quoted £550 for about 3hours.
I think it's more expensive than others cuz they know you only get the car if youre especially interested x

Try looking around the area where you are getting married, some people have really lovely cars and would probably drive you!
I'm not going to have a car take us to the church, for cost cutting reasons but just pick me and Hubby up after to take us to ceremony, no-one sees the bride arrive just walk down the aisle, well that's my excuse anyway, lol
