    Hi Ladies

My MOH is organising my Hen do (4 nights abroad somewhere) and I have asked her to organise it for July 2012 as my partner and I were hoping to get married in September 2012!

However now it looks like we might be having a December 2012 wedding as he is being sent to Afghan in July 2012! Should I leave the hen do as it stands or move it so it's closer to the wedding?

    Your help would be appreciated!

    x

Can't wait to be Mrs Stratford!!
Miss my fiancée so much, can't wait till he's home for good

if it is all booked up i would leave it as is, but if nothing is set in stone theres no harm in moving it!! or u could have one away in july and maybe a nite out at home nearer the day...make the most of it!!!

We'll be marrying beginning of August, and I plan to have my hen do in the May half-term, so, just over 2 months before. If it's booked then as MrsC said I'd leave it, but otherwise I'd probably move it, as I think 5/6 months is quite a big gap and for me it wouldn't feel the same. The only reason I'm having mine so far in advance is that I'll be teaching, and we want to go abroad; I'll probably also do something small and low-key the week before though as well.

You might be able to get a better deal if you went in september.

I'm having my hen night 8 days before the wedding (two weeks yesterday). While I wanted it this way initially, the biggest factor in my decision making was that my MoH lives in Germany and she wouldn't have been able to book that much time off if it was any earlier than that, or afford extra flights.

If you haven't paid for yours, I'd say go later. Like Mandy said, you'll get a better deal in September or later as it isn't peak time.

I get married mid may and we are planning on having mine end of march. Main deciding factor for us is that i am slightly prone to accidents so it would give me at least 6 weeks to be in one piece again. There is nothing worng with doing your in july and agree with the other ladies just have a nice evening out a few weeks before.

    Going to become Mrs Stockman
Got engaged on 26th April 2011
    Getting married 19th May 2012

Dont know when or whats happeningfor my hen do. But i imagine havong an august wedding to have it no earlier than june but it will prb be nearer end of july due to the jobs/responsibilities of the ladies invited. But i agree, ifyou can move it closer it would prob be best all round xx

I'm getting married in august and where going to magaluf in the June. If it's booked then still go and like all the other ladies say have another nearer the date. If you haven't booked it then maybe you would want to move closer to the wedding

I'm going to have my hen do about a month before the wedding.

Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)
