We are on a budget but luckily I work for a travel company and we have just booked 6 nights in Cologne Germany in a 4.5 star hotel for £412 and flights are around £180, yay : )
Have been to Cologne before and loved it with all its Italian/Sicilian restaurants, gorgeous place and though a tourist destination not hectic like some places
Neither of us have flown before so my boss suggested we stay at a airport hotel (some even provide Airport parking) the night before as the flights are a 7.55 am so it will be easier. So will be trying to sort this out next week : )
