do you think it matters whether a bridesmaid dress is high street or not...............have looked at hundreds of different bridesmaid dresses yet seem to be more drawn to high street as this would not only suit my budget but possibly suit my bridesmaids more x

    what do you all think?

It really doesn't matter where you buy them from. You just buy what you feel is right for you.

The nice thing about high street is that you can get dresses that can easily be worn again- the only downside I can think of is that you risk a guest wearing the same thing! x

I got mine on the high street not only because of the £££ but the style is a little more upto date modern.

I would say that if the colour, style and £'s is right then go for high street. I've been having a look around the high street and not found anything I like so far that I'd want my BM's wearing so might have to go to a bridal store. This will also ensure there is no risk that a guest will turn up wearing the same dress. I want my BM's to feel every bit as special as me and to stand out and be far more glam than the guests.

There are some lovely dresses on the highstreet, especially in Coast. I would have gone for highstreet if I could have found somewhere that did adult and children's dresses in the same colours! Struggled for ages trying to find a child's dress in the right colour but there just wasn't one so ended up having to buy from a bridal shop at more than twice the price :( But they will both be in the same colour now.

If you are scared of guests wearing the same dress just customise it a bit.
